This residential renovation project in Auckland uses reclaimed 19th century French oak with 200mm wide flooring boards to achieve a breathtaking and vibrant dining/lounge area. The French oak displays a warm, rich colour that comes from the original fuming of a bygone era. The U-shaped staircase was also finished using the same timber which transitions well into the off-white tile floor.
